Julien Ortiz is a Filipina graphic designer from St Clair, Western Sydney (Dharug Country). Graduating in 2023 with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication (Honours) from the University of Technology Sydney, Julien is the current graphic designer of Sweatshop Literacy Movement. She is passionate about the role of creativity and arts in communicating diverse perspectives, with her skillsets ranging from typography, print, illustration and website design. Outside of her role at Sweatshop, she also volunteers as a gallery keeper at Pari, an artist-run-initiative in Parramatta.
