Abeny Mayol

Abeny Mayol is a South Sudanese writer residing in Naarm, Melbourne. She lived in Kakuma refugee camp in the Turkana district and Nairobi, Kenya where she learned how to read and write. Abeny completed a Bachelor’s of Urban and Regional Planning with Honours from the University of South Australia and her Master’s in Urban Design at the University of Sydney. She has been published in Sweatshop Women.
