Amani Mahmoud

Amani Mahmoud is a writer, lawyer and daughter of Pakistani immigrants living in Australia. She has read her poetry at the 2019 TedxYouth Conference and the 2019 Sydney Writers Festival. In 2020 Amani’s work was featured in the online ‘Sweatshop in a Red Room’ collaboration. In 2022 she was the author in the arts showcase ‘Behind Closed Doors’ raising awareness for domestic violence in South Asian communities.
