Rayann Bekdache
Rayann Bekdache is a second-generation Australian Muslim woman of Lebanese heritage who grew up in Sydney’s south-west on Darug and Eora land. She is a former journalist and sub-editor who writes to process and share her lived experiences. She has written for SBS Voices, Online Opinion and The Sydney Morning Herald. She has performed at the Bankstown Poetry Slam and Revolution Renegade. Rayann is passionate about desserts and shares her creations via a home-based business Cocodua and she currently works in the public service.
